Why the amazing iRocker All-Around 11′ = best value for money
The iRocker All-Around 11′ was my favorite Stand Up Paddle Board for this year, and for good reason. So time for a complete and in-depth review like this board deserves to get. This board is the best value for money you can get and I will explain why this is the case and why I love this board so much!

The iRocker All-Around is most suitable for:
I would recommend the iRocker All-Around 11′ Paddle Board for basically everyone who wants a complete paddle board package, whether you are a beginner or a more advanced paddle boarder. For the price of $599 you get so many things that it almost makes my head spin! With all the accessories included this is hands down the best all-around board available for this price on the market.
The board is very stable and has a size of 11′ long and 32″ wide. So obviously this is not your racing speed achiever, but anything else this board will be capable of. This board offers amazing value for money and it will give you paddling pleasure for years to come. As one of very few (maybe none) iRocker also offers 1 year of warranty on their accessories, which is exceptional. The board has a warranty of 2 years (only Red Paddle surpassed this big time with their new 5 year warranty, but they do not include accessories).
You will love the rigidity and stability of the board and all the really high quality accessories that come with it, which I will highlight later. It does not matter which discipline of Stand Up Paddling you like, this board is so All-Round it makes everything possible!

Speed on the water
The board is designed for beginners with an all-around purpose, speed is not what it is aimed at. It is alright as far as speed goes, but nothing special here.
Transport
The board is 20% lighter than the previous version, now it has a weight of 12.2 kg. This is easy to carry, you can roll it up tight because all 3 fins are removable.
Stability
The 32″ width makes the board more stable than your average 30″ width board, which is good for beginners to start on.
My own experience
The iRocker All-Around board felt the same to me as the high quality of the Blackfin and Red Paddle board I have tested before. Very stable and stiff, I did not have a wobbly feeling at all. Since I had tested the Blackfin I of course knew what the quality would be like, but it feel like the $120 lower price compared to the Blackfin Model X had no influence on anything.
So my backpack has no wheels, I don’t use them anyway. I love to carry my bag around on my back, do a few squats while I’m at it, never skipping leg day ;-).
What I like about the board is the very stable feeling, even more so than the Blackfin Model X, and the easy way to keep a straight line. The board has 3 fins, 2 small and one big one, which are all removable so you can easily put the board into the supplied high quality backpack.
The board now has a full-deck anti-slip pad compared to the 2019 version, which makes it an even better experience where you have grip anywhere on the board. Even when it gets wet you wont slip. It also has some other great additions, like the multi-use action mounts for cameras, speakers, fishing rod holders or other handy attachments.
This board seems to perform well on any type of water. In the waves it was not too wobbly and on the river it is easy cruising straight through the water, like a hot knife through butter (popcorn anyone?).

The iRocker board is a bit harder to turn since with a 6″ board it is a bit harder to carve a turn then with a thinner board, but it is manageable. I really like the fact that there are two bungee cords to take things along. I have always loved hiking and camping and this gives me the opportunity to take all my (read: my dads) gear along.
Important features
Setup
- Lightweight Triple Layer Composite PVC makes the board up to 20% lighter than Quad Layer
- Extra comfy, logo branded, EVO deck pad
- 20 D-rings. Bungee cords on front and back, one for attaching your leash, 6 for optional kayak-seat + footrest
- 3 Comfortable grip handles for carrying, in the middle of the board, the front and the back
- 4 Multi-Use Action Mounts on the deck of the board
Fins
This board has 2 small fins and one big fin, all of them are removable. This makes it a lot easier to roll up!
Material
The boards are constructed with military grade Triple Layer Composite PVC and can be inflated from 15-18 PSI.
Inflate / deflate
The iRocker All-Around Paddle Board is inflated in only 5 mins with the supplied Dual Chamber-Triple Action Hand Pump.
Warranty
iRocker offers a 2-year warranty on the board and a 1-year warranty on the accessories (usual you get 0 on accessories, this is great service!)
Design
This board is available in a couple of different designs and colors, 6 different versions in total. So you always find one you will like!
In the package
Paddle
The included iRocker SUP Paddle is a carbon blend shaft paddle, which is lighter and stronger than the previously included fiberglass paddle. It is a 3-piece paddle that is adjustable in height. So this paddle will suit everyone and not break easily at all!
Pump
The iRocker Full Throttle SUP Pump is a Dual Chamber-Triple Action Hand Pump! This one of, if not the best, SUP pumps available on the market. This will inflate and deflate your paddle board without too much effort in short time (my record is only 5 minutes). The only reason this pump is not in my Best SUP Pumps guide is because it costs a whopping $160 if you purchase it separately!
Leash
The iRocker paddle board leash is a coiled leash, which is great because it only extends if you actually fall in the water. So it is never in your way when you are paddling. This is easily connected to the board. It has a neoprene padding and handy key pocket.
Backpack
The iRocker paddle board backpack has been improved from last years version and the design of the bag depends on the color board you pick! It has very comfortable straps and a lot of extra tie downs and pockets, so you can take almost everything with you.
Optional accessories (not included)
Restube classic
Because extra safety measures never hurt anyone!
Electric SUP pump
For those who donβt want the exercise before getting on the board.
Difference between an Inflatable board and a Hard board
Advantages Inflatable board
- Easy to take on holiday (even on the plane)
- Easy to store in the winter days
- Much cheaper
- Technology has improved greatly over the past 10 years. For this reason, these boards are now almost hard to distinguish from hard boards
Advantages Hardboard
- More speed, which is important if you are a professional
- Easier to make sharp turns on the water because the board is thinner
- No inflation needed, you can get on the water right away

If you want an even better value for your money, I tested out the Goosehill Sailor and would choose it over the iRocker All-Around.

Unless you want to use it for one specific reason only like racing, fishing or yoga only, I cannot imagine a better option for an all-around board.

Hi,
After lot of great reviews here, i’m stuck between Irocker 11 allround one or Bluefin Cruise 12 (10.8 maybe). Wich one do you recommend ? Both will be for same purpose. Family paddling across the choppy sea (rarely lakes), 3 -5km distances maybe. I am 168 cm height 72 kg wieght, and my husband 178 cm height, 86kg wieght and we will be together on it with some luggage. We like fun and exploring too so one board fits all.
At that moment Irocker have great discount price too (if ISUP lenght is ok with purpose we want). Thanks in advance for answer.
Hi Leona,
If you want to paddle with multiple people the Bluefin 12 would be most recommended, since you have some extra space for family and luggage and you get the whole package included. But an iRocker could also be a great choice if you already have the accessories, however I would still opt for a 12′.
Personally I have tried this with my girlfriend and even though we don’t reach the weight limit, I like the extra space and stability the 12′ boards offer compared to the 11′ boards.
Let me know what decision you will make and how the board feels!
Tom
Hi Tom,
Thanks for a good article.
I have a Bluefin 15 ft Cruise and zRay X5 13 ft, I am looking for another board and am caught between the iRocker 11 ft all rounder and Bluefin 12ft Carbon Cruise.
I only will be using for single rider as have the larger 15 ft board.
What would your thought be?
Thanks
Thanks for your reply Simon!
For single riding both boards will work well, it depends mostly on personal preference in regards to agility and speed.
Personally I would prefer the Carbon Cruise for touring and the iRocker 11′ if you go on a bit more moving waters where you need to be a bit more agile.
In case you like to also sit down and kayak the Bluefin would of course be the obvious choice.
Let me know what you decide to go for!
Tom
Thanks for the review!
I am stuck between the Irocker 11″ and Atoll boards. I will be doing lake paddling and want to be able to go for long paddles (so need glide) but only weight 130 lbs. I want the larger weigh capacity so I can take a friend when needed.
It seems like these two boards are VERY similar. Is there any real difference?
Hi Megan,
Thanks for your reply! These boards are rather similar in size, but the Atoll is lighter than the other board.
The iRocker has luggage cords on front and back the Atoll only on the front. So if you want more luggage the iRocker is easier, for more space for a second person the Atoll.
The Atoll has the smaller fins fixed on the board, the iRocker ones can all be removed. iRocker also offers a better pump and they both offer a carbon paddle.
But currently iRocker has raised the price quite a bit and is a bit more expensive than the Atoll. So it is really even between these boards, it all depends on personal preference.
Let me know which board you decide to go for in the end!
Tom
Hey, Tom!
I’ve recently gotten into paddleboarding thanks to a friend and I love it! I’d like to buy my own and I found this website super helpful, congrats on it!
I’m currently torn between the Magma and the iRocker, I’ve seen great reviews for all of them (even though Aqua Marinas also have bad quality reviews out there). I also see I can get the iRocker on a good deal.
Would you recommend the iRocker as a starter choice in 2022?
Thanks and cheers!
Hi Andrei,
Thank you for your kind words! There are a lot of things to consider when you want to get your own paddle board, but between these the iRocker will honestly give you better quality for your money and better accessories.
So a good deal on the iRocker is surely worth it as a starter choice.
Let me know what you’ve purchased and how your experience is!
Tom
