Let’s talk about rigidity, the Tower X-Class boasts an impressive 8 inches of thickness, and it’s made with double-layer, drop stitching technology and hand-glued construction. This means it’s as solid as can be, and it’s been the gold standard in quality for the industry for over a decade. It’s so rigid!
And let’s not forget about the size. This inflatable paddle board measures 10 feet 4 inches in length and 35 inches in width. That’s some serious stability right there! It also means there’s more floatation, so you can really stand up paddle glide through the water like a pro. High-performance riders love the hard-board-like rigidity it offers, while heavier riders appreciate the extra floatation and rigidity it provides.

The Tower X Class is not all about speed and blazing through the water like a rocket. If you’re looking for a board that gives you speed, this might not be the board for you. The X-treme X Class does offer some maneuverability, thanks to its wider dimensions.Β
Transport
The TOWER X Class X -treme inflatable sups don’t come with a SUP bag included. Unfortunately, you won’t find a fancy bag bundled up with this paddle board. So, if you’re hoping for a convenient carrying solution, you might need to look into getting a separate bag.
Stability
I’m giving it a solid 10 out of 10! It’s one of the most stable boards I’ve ever tried. If you’re a beginner or a big paddler, this paddle board stand up is your best friend. You can hop on with confidence knowing that you won’t be wobbling all over the place.
Personal Experience | Tower X Class
My personal experience with the TOWER X Class is when I opened that box, two things are missing that you’ll notice right away. No bag and no leash! And let me tell you, those are pretty important things you need to hit the road with your SUP. So, yeah, that’s a real downside.
Another thing you’ll spot right off the bat is that the accessories are not quite up to date. The paddle has a big old blade and a small handle. And the pump? It’s a single-action pump from Bravo, nothing fancy. You got to use a separate gauge to check the air pressure, and the pump has a wide tube. Not the most convenient setup, I’ll be honest.
But here’s something to be happy about, the board itself is nicely finished with a simple design. Sometimes simple is just nice, you know? And guess what? They even throw in a book called “The Five Hour Workday” with it. Not bad!
Now, let’s talk about that pump again. It’s an older model, and you got to push it down to make it work. The fin is a bit of a bummer too, as it’s not a pretty standard model. You can only use it with specific Tower SUP boards, so forget about swapping it out for a different type.
Now, here’s where it gets really unfortunate. No leash is included with Tower SUP boards. And trust me, these days, every brand emphasizes the importance of using a leash. Leashes save lives! I hope they would include that in their package.
The paddle, on the other hand, is adjustable with three parts. It’s made of fiberglass, but here’s the catch, the blade is on the larger side, which makes it quite heavy. So, using this paddle will put a strain on your arms and shoulders while you’re out there paddling. It’s a shame because you’d rather save that energy for your technique, pacing, and endurance.
Overall, the quality of the SUP itself looks great, but the accessories are a bit lacking. Just keep the price of that in mind. The Tower Paddle Board X Class has a 3-year warranty.

The secure fin included with this inflatable sup is not a standard model and is specifically designed for Tower SUP boards. Therefore, it is impossible to fit a different fin type onto this board. In addition to the main fin, this board features two additional side fins to provide increased stability during your SUP adventures.

Inflate / deflate
With the Tower Paddle board X class, I achieved an impressive inflation of up to 12 psi. It took only 5.5 minutes to reach the desired 12 psi pressure.

The Tower Xtreme is like the recreational sibling of the Xplorer. It’s got the same length dimensions as the Tower recreational boards. If you’re looking for a paddle board that’s all about fun and stability, the Tower Xtreme is your ticket to an awesome adventure.
In The Package – TOWER X Class Paddle Board
Unfortunately, the package for the TOWER X ClassΒ does not includeΒ aΒ leashΒ andΒ SUP bag, which may disappoint paddlers. You can buy an extra package that contains all the accessories for an additional payment, which is also good and not that expensive in my opinion.
The included accessories for the TOWER X Class are not up to date, including the paddle that features a large blade and a small handle.
The pump is an older model single-action pump with a separate air pressure gauge that you have to mount between the hose and pump. So the pump only works when you push the pump down.
US Box Fin
The TOWER X Class is Equipped with a single center US fin box. This board comes with a specially designed fin that perfectly complements Tower sup boards. While this means you won’t be able to swap it out for other fins! The X Class has your stability needs covered with two additional side fins.
