There are a few differences between this model and the previous version. However, they still use high-quality materials and a drop-stitch construction with two layers, making the SUP board durable and rigid!

Another difference is that the new version has three color options, whereas the old version does not! The Explorer paddleboard is an all-around paddleboard, but if you’re looking for a practical SUP that can also be used for touring, this one will do the job.

It has two primary functions on a single board! It has extra bungees for extra storage and any other accessories you want to attach. Because of its pointed nose, this paddleboard easily cuts through calm waters. It is very stable and easy to glide.

The ISLE Explorer Paddleboard is designed to travel long distances in comfort and style. I was pleasantly surprised by how fast the SUP is. It is designed for forwarding motion, but turning it can be difficult. However, the speed is fantastic!

Transport
The ISLE explorer Paddleboard comes with a SUP bag, which has padded straps and a back pocket to ensure your comfort while traveling. You can also see in their SUP that it has two grab handles at the front and back, allowing two people to carry the board.

Stability
In terms of stability, the ISLE Explorer Paddleboard will not disappoint. It is extremely durable, and you can even take your pet along. This is also enhanced by the SUP’s triple fin setup. I recommend removing the larger fin when in shallow water so you don’t damage it. No worries, this will still keep the SUP board stable.

What I like about this SUP is that it is a versatile paddleboard that can withstand any water or weather conditions. Trying it out on the water, provided me with such excellent stability. You can do yoga, bring your pets on board, go fishing, and tour!

You’ll have no trouble bringing some of your belongings because it has a 6-point expandable bungee system and a 4-point rear expandable bungee system, which is helpful if you’re going to paddle for longer periods.

I also liked the fact that ISLE has included the necessary paddling accessories, making it very convenient to use and saving you money on other accessories.  

The ISLE Explorer Paddleboard has an updated soft brushed EVA traction pad with grooves for added traction and comfort for you and your passengers.

The ISLE Explorer Paddleboard is easy to transport because it has reinforced grab handles that allow you to load your SUP board easily. It can also serve as a tie-down point for docking your leash.

Do you want to bring anything with you while paddling? This SUP features an expandable bungee system to which you can attach additional accessories that you believe will improve your paddling. You can attach items such as a camera, SUP cooler, and so on. There is a 6-point front bungee system and a 4-point rear bungee system.

You’ll notice a center D-ring for attaching accessories and a tail Mounted D-ring for quickly attaching a leash or tying up to a boat or dock.

What I also liked about this updated ISLE Explorer paddleboard is that it comes with an electric SUP pump, which makes paddlers’ lives much easier!

It has a new three-fin setup with a universal fin box for the center fin. The advantage of this is that you can swap out for a different brand if you want to paddle in a specific type of water. The two side fins are very small, making rolling up the paddleboard simple.

Fins
The ISLE Explorer Paddleboard has a triple-fin setup, which contributes to the board’s excellent stability. The middle fin can be removed if you intend to paddle in shallow water. For the center fin, they used a universal fin box.

Material
This SUP board is not the lightest by ISLE, but it only weighs 24 pounds although quite long. The AIRTECH Fusion Lite is used, which makes the board lighter. This ISLE explorer Paddleboard is made of two layers of military-grade PVC.

Inflate / deflate
It took me 8 minutes to inflate the SUP with the hand pump. However, when I used the Electric SUP pump, it only took me 3 minutes to inflate the paddleboard. Inflating and deflating this paddleboard will be a breeze!

Design
The ISLE Explorer paddleboard is intended for intermediate to advanced paddlers looking for an all–around paddleboard that is also great for touring. I liked the simplicity of the explorer, and unlike the previous version, you will have great color options at the same time.

In the Package

SUP Bag

The ISLE Explorer has a SUP backpack with pockets and meshed sides, as well as front bungee ties. The padded straps will keep you comfortable as you travel. Your SUP board and all of the extra accessories fit nicely in the bag. Snacks can also be packed it is also easy to transport.

Fins

The ISLE Explorer paddleboard has removable nylon touring center fin. This is also why the board provides excellent stability because it improves tracking on flat water. The two small side fins are also small, making it easy to roll up your paddleboard.

Leash

When paddling, this is one of the most important accessories. They’ve also included an 8′ coiled leash paddle to bring you closer to the board in case you fall. This coiled leash has no slack, so it will not tangle in your leash and will remain close to you.

Paddle

The ISLE Explorer has a carbon hybrid with a three-piece adjustable paddle that is lightweight and durable, and it can also be easily adjusted to fit your height. My only complaint is that the paddle does not float and sinks once water enters the shaft.

Electric Pump

I’m overjoyed that they’ve included an electric SUP pump in their package! This is an excellent advantage for frequent paddlers! I was able to inflate mine in just 3 minutes using this electric SUP pump! This SUP BOARD is very convenient and a great value for money!
