Setup
- Bungee area:
You’ll have plenty of room to secure your valuables with both front and back bungees. Thanks to the 6-point front bungee, you can swiftly secure a backpack or two and any additional gear you want to bring along. The 4-point bungee is ideal for securing a dry bag on the small side.
The back bungee is detachable; if you don’t need it, you can easily remove it. You’ll be able to move your feet around more easily. - Carry Handles:
In the middle is a carry handle. The board is strong and well-padded, making it easy to tote over long distances. - Construction:
The company went with a dual-layer MSL design. The fusion technology reduced the overall score to eight despite the board’s size. Thanks to its twin-layer fusion technology, its durability has also been thoroughly considered; it is extremely light when fully inflated, yet it will endure a long time with some care. - Deck Pad:
Several changes have been made to the deck pad. The Gili Adventure 11′ / 12′ SUP now boasts a comfy EVA foam traction pad, unlike the earlier 10’6 all-around’s diamond-grooved design. It offers a comfortable brushed finish for your feet and hands. - D-Rings:

Inflate / deflate
It only takes about ten to fifteen minutes to inflate the Gili Adventure entirely. To speed up the process, I recommend my absolute best OM Shark II electric pump. Deflating is just as easy – simply open the valve and let the air out. The whole process takes less than five minutes, making it a breeze to get on and off the water. Overall, this product is extremely user-friendly and requires minimal effort.

The Gili Adventure Inflatable SUP Board comes with a 2-year warranty. When you buy a product, you usually expect some kind of warranty coverage in the event that something goes wrong.

Design
The Gili Adventure paddle board is designed for both all-around flatwater paddling and light ocean surfing. It is a durable yet lightweight construction that makes it easy to carry and transport. There are three paddle options available: fiberglass with nylon blade, carbon fiber with nylon blade, and carbon shaft with a carbon blade.
Leash
A coiled lightweight safety leash with an 8-foot reach. The leash’s spiral design keeps it out of the water and out of the way. When paddle boarding, it features a comfortable ankle strap and goes unnoticed.
Pump
The Gili 2-stage hand pump is quite powerful. It’s compact and lightweight, and it folds up easily for travel. Continuous upward and downward pumping cycles make it easy to inflate your board to 15 PSI. The pump also has a gauge that shows the pressure on the board (PSI).
Backpack
The front of the bag has wheels, and the handle for wheeled use is also on the front. It is nice and compact, SUP fits in it and so does the pump. There are also more compartments where you can store some of your paddleboard accessories. In comparison to the previous one, I liked the new backpack they updated.
Repair Kit
The Gili Adventure board also comes with a repair kit in case something goes wrong with it. Although we do not wish for this to occur, it is a good thing that they have included it in their package. A valve wrench, three PVC repair patches, and three replacement flip locks for the board’s fins are included in the kit. Having a spare repair kit is better than having none!
Additional Accessories
Life Jacket
This is a must-have accessory, especially if there will be children or pets on the paddleboard. You can’t just put on any old life jacket and call it good when paddle boarding. You need a properly-fitting personal flotation device (PFD) that is comfortable and won’t get in your way while paddling. While there are many different types and styles of PFDs on the market, here are a few things to consider when choosing the right one for you.
Consider the type of paddle boarding you’ll be doing most often. If you are doing primarily flatwater paddling, you’ll want a different PFD than if you’re planning on tackling some whitewater rapids. Comfort is vital. You don’t want to constantly adjust and readjust your PFD while you’re out on the water, so make sure it fits well and doesn’t chafe or rub in any uncomfortable ways.
Because the Adventure SUP has so many activities to offer, it’s best to invest in a high-quality and comfortable life jacket to keep the passengers safe. Keep in mind that you must ensure everyone’s safety. With more options to choose from, an infant life jacket and a dog life jacket are available.
Waterproof Fanny Pack
If you’re planning on hitting the waves for a day of paddle boarding, you’ll want to make sure you have all the gear you need to stay safe and comfortable. One essential item is a waterproof fanny pack. This will help keep your valuables safe and dry as you enjoy your time on the water. There are a few things to consider when choosing a waterproof fanny pack. First, think about what size you need. A smaller bag will be fine if you’re only bringing a few small items with you. But if you’re carrying things like sunscreen, snacks, and extra clothes, you’ll need something more significant.
Electric Pump
The electric pump is an excellent addition to any paddle boarder’s arsenal. It is easy to get your board inflated and ready to hit the water. No more struggling with manual pumps or worrying about whether or not you’ve got enough air in your board. The electric pump does all the work for you.
Kayak Conversion Kit/Seat Cushion
Because the Gili Adventure SUP is also a great fishing paddleboard, you might want to consider adding a kayak seat to make your experience more comfortable and enjoyable, especially if you have a passenger.
Water Proof Speakers

The Gili paddleboard has two storage areas on the front and back, allowing you to add either a hard or soft cooler. Bring your favorite drink out on the water with you! It’s so much easier to stay hydrated when you have a SUP Cooler with you! This is also recommended for paddlers who will be out on the water for several hours!

Conclusion – Should I buy this board?
The Gili Sports 11’/12′ Adventure left a great impression on me. Despite its impressive weight capacity, it feels easy to maneuver on the water as a light iSUP (in general, not just because of its size).
I like how it’s so feature-rich, with so many practical features that improve the paddling experience. It moved quickly through the water while being sturdy enough to handle most of the harsher conditions we encountered.
Overall, I believe these boards are well worth their high overall scores. New paddlers to intermediate paddlers will really appreciate it. GILI’s touring paddle board will otherwise appeal to paddlers looking for better speed. With lots of additional features and accessories, this paddle board is excellent value for money and will last longer if rightly maintained and looked after.
