Speed on the water
The Bluefin Sprint carbon is made with a sporty speed for long distances. The paddleboard’s increased length and decreased width improved its gliding characteristics, which improved performance. A great elongated SUP design on the SUP provides excellent directional stability with higher speed.
Transport
You won’t have any trouble moving your paddleboard with the help of the wheeled backpack that comes with the Bluefin Sprint Carbon! You can choose to carry your bag now, or you can just use the wheels. Although it also has a carrying strap, I was unable to use it with the Bluefin Carbon Sprint.
Stability
The durability and stability of the Bluefin Sprint carbon are appealing because it gives you a good balance in the water. With a narrow, specialized shape that keeps you moving in straight lines and a pointed 14β² profile that glides through the waterline. The three fins also give the paddler more stability.
What Makes The Bluefin Sprint Carbon Stand Out?
If you enjoy racing or want to have an extremely adventurous experience on the water, the Bluefin Sprint Carbon is a great choice.
Special features have been added to the new & improved SUP in terms of functionality, aesthetics, and included accessories.
The FRS (Flex Reduction System) benefits from carbon-railing construction, which makes it stronger & sturdier than ever before. The SUP has a long-lasting design that makes it more durable.
Additionally, the Bluefin Sprint carbon uses ESL to create extremely durable UV-proof decks, and only Bluefin does this! This is best suited for experienced paddlers and is not for beginners. Its backpack now has wheels, so transporting it won’t be a problem.
This fantastic SUP comes with a 5-year warranty!
My own experience
In my personal experience, the Bluefin Sprint Carbon was nicely and neatly packed when I started unboxing it. When the box is opened, the SUP accessories are located at the top.
The SUP comes with all necessary accessories, plus some extras like a repair kit and a waterproof phone case.
The board tilts backward when you lift it because the back carries more weight. It is quite heavy, as I felt it.
On the side of the board, there are two extra handles. Using these handles to lift it can be convenient. The board is well-made and has a lovely layout. White and blue have been used in a variety of hues. This is visually appealing for me personally.
The board has a ton of storage space under the bungee cords, which is very convenient. If you want to spend a weekend on the water, you can easily bring a tent in addition to a waterproof bag with extra clothing. Excellent for summertime adventures!

The board has a clean finish. Both glue remnants and loose-looking parts are absent. All components are neatly glued together and this has been carefully considered. The stability that the board offers is evident as soon as you step out onto the water. Concerning the length and width of the SUP, this is excellent. The 77 cm width of the board gives it a wide feel. The stability of the board is more crucial because it is nice and stable in the water and because the nose is not flat when paddling through waves. In summary, while the Bluefin Sprint Carbon paddleboard is heavier than average, it also provides a lot of stability while paddling.
It Offers the Ultimate Zen Experience
A large center fin and a 2+1 fin setup are features of the Bluefin Sprint Carbon. The center fin is both a US fin box system and a smart lock system, making installation simple.
With the densest drop stitch pattern available and an ultra-tough UV-proofed deck, Bluefin creates rigid, long-lasting paddleboards. Additionally, PVC and Military Grade construction is used.
The Croco Diamond Deck pad + Kickpad on the Bluefin Sprint carbon is comfortable to step in, especially when out on the water, and provides additional grip and traction. At the very end of the board, there is a kick pad that will make it simple for you to carve sharp turns.
Additionally, the Bluefin Sprint carbon has 18 D-rings where you can attach an action mount and other paddling-related accessories. It has two cargo spaces, which are located in the paddleboard’s nose and tail.
High-quality accessories come with all the gear you could need for paddling or touring. The paddleboard comes with a five-year warranty.
Important Features
Setup
The majority of the standing area on the Deck pad is covered by an Anti-Slip EVA with diamond embossing and crocodile surface.
It has several D-rings, an action camera mount, a leash D-ring on the tail, and six D-rings for securing a kayak seat in the middle of the board.
The carrying strap is positioned precisely in the board’s center of mass. One person can carry the board using this.
When transporting the board or even taking a quick swim break on a SUP tour, the central carrying handle can double as a paddle holder.
There are four additional carrying handles on the Bluefin Sprint Carbon. These additional carry handles are fastened to the board’s left, right, nose (front), and tail (rear), respectively.
A sizable luggage net with additional neoprene straps is located in the front of the vehicle.
2+1 Fin Setup that is fully detachable. There are three fins on the Bluefin Sprint Carbon.
In the back, the deck pad is elevated. It is simpler to turn if you shift some of your weight to the kick pad.
Fins
There are 2+1 fins on the Bluefin Sprint carbon. US Box’s center fin and two smaller side fins for smart locks. The smart lock system makes it simple to install the smaller fins, and all three are detachable!
Material
The bluefin Sprint carbon paddleboard is made of premium materials, making it sturdy and long-lasting. It is coated with UV resistance and has several thick PVC layers. The Bluefin also has its proprietary method of manufacturing the carbon rails known as the “FRS” or “Flex Reduction System,” which increases the stiffness and resilience of the board.
Inflate / deflate
I had no trouble pumping the bluefin sprint carbon, and it is also a very powerful material. You can switch the pump from the middle chamber to the outer chamber and be ready to go on the water in less than five minutes.
Warranty
There is a 60-day return policy and a 5-year warranty on the Bluefin Sprint Carbon Paddleboard.
Design
The Bluefin Sprint carbon paddleboard is a simple but beautiful touring board in a shade of blue and turquoise, in my opinion. In addition to having a sporty claim, it is made with excellent workmanship and high-quality materials. This paddleboard is designed for those who enjoy taking on extreme aquatic adventures.
In the package
Paddle
The three-piece adjustable paddle has a carbon fiber shaft that is both light and strong. The three-piece paddle’s attachment components are immobile. The blade is made of PVC and has a rubber edge to protect the board. It is a little larger than average.
Pump
What a wonderful pump! It is incredibly powerful, and the so-called triple action makes it simple to inflate the board. Pump as much air in as you can starting in position 1. Once you notice that it begins to get heavier, you can change the pump’s setting. The air can then only be blown in when you press the pump down, rather than in both directions. The final portion can be pressurized using just one tube.
Leash
A neoprene leash that is comfortable to use. It doesn’t bother you when you have the leash on for a long enough period.
Backpack
Board barely fits in a bag because it’s a little on the small side (in the height of the bag). The bag has enough room for everything to fit inside; the paddle can be neatly stored on the outside, and the small parts can fit in the front pocket. You will see wheels at the front of the bag. The lifting handle is now at the back of the bag; if it had been at the front, it would have been even easier to ride. The wheels and lifting handle are not well matched.
Fins
Strong and easy to install, the fins. Utilizing the smart-lock system, the side fins are simply inserted.
Repair Kit
The repair kit included two extra pieces of PVC and a valve lever, but sadly no matching glue.
Waterproof Phone Case
Almost any phone can fit inside the waterproof case because it is good and big enough.
Carry Strap
The package’s included shoulder strap cannot be used with the board. There may be eyelets where the strap can be attached, but this does not provide a comfortable wearing surface.
Optional accessories (my must-haves – not included)
Here are two of my favorite accessories for this year. One for safety and one because I like to use my time wisely (like take pictures while my board inflates itself) π

Difference Between an Inflatable board and a Hard Board
Advantages Inflatable board
- Easy to take on holiday (even on the plane)
- Easy to store in the winter days
- Much cheaper
- Technology has improved greatly over the past 10 years. For this reason, these boards are now almost hard to distinguish from hard boards
Advantages Hardboard
- More speed, which is important if you are a professional
- Easier to make sharp turns on the water because the board is thinner
- No inflation needed, you can get on the water right away
Other reviews of the Bluefin Sprint online
“The Bluefin Sprint Carbon is a very good race board for advanced as well as sporty paddlers who like to go fast and cover long distances. The running characteristics of the board are very convincing due to the high stiffness and the elongated design. The construction with the carbon-reinforced rails and the many features is well thought out and the workmanship on a consistently high level.”

“The 14β Sprint is a premium touring board available at a mid-level price, and one of our favorite touring boards for 2020. The very stable paddleboard is more than able to support up to two adult paddlers, with minimal performance loss even as you hit the 425 lbs recommended weight capacity. The tracking and glide are fantastic on the 14β Sprint Carbon, and we love how fast it is in the water without having to sacrifice too much maneuverability and stability. “
supboarguide.com
“The Bluefin 14 Sprint Carbon is an excellent touring paddle board with exceptional performance on the water. It combines superb tracking with remarkable speed and maneuverability. This is a package that will be enjoyed by experienced paddlers. The 14 Sprint Carbon is extremely solid and stable on the water. In a blind test, it would be easy for advanced paddlers to believe they were on a hard board.

“So, is this a board for everyone? Not really. Beginners are likely to feel a lot more comfortable with a wider board like the Cruise. And those who want a SUP for playing around in the surf or teaching their kids how to paddle. But if youβre an intermediate/advanced paddler who enjoys getting to places quickly and efficiently, you wonβt find a better iSUP on the market than the Sprint carbon. Whether youβre touring for a few days with camping gear or exploring an island, this is the best board for the job. “
