The Sroka Alpha SUP is made of high-quality materials and employs Fusion Technology, which makes the paddleboard lightweight and easy for riders to transport or carry.

The rails are also made of three layers of PVC, making them both durable and rigid! Because the shape of the board is designed for it, these paddleboards will provide you with increased speed.

Speed on the water

I put the Alpha SUP range through its paces by paddling in three different ways:
Quiet: almost upright and relaxed, with little power.
Technical: While paddling, I focused on proper technique.
Pace: Good technique and use of the entire body.

⭐️Alpha 11’6

Calm: 4-5 km/h
Technical: 5-6.5 km/h
Pace: up to 7.5 km/h

⭐️Alpha 12’6×31

Slow: 4-5 km/h
Technical: 5-6.5 km/h
Pace: up to 8 km/h

⭐️Alpha 12’6×28

Pace: up to 8.5 km/h

⭐️Alpha 14’x27

Easy: 4.5-6.5 km/h
Technical: 5.5-8 km/h
Pace: up to 9.9 km/h

Transport
When it comes to transporting the paddle board, the SUP bag with wheels makes it easy. It also has large compartments where you can store your paddling accessories. All Sroka Alpha SUP models are easy to transport!

Stability

⭐️Alpha 11’6

The board’s stability is excellent, and it lies flat in the water.

⭐️Alpha 12’6×31

The board’s stability is excellent, even better than the Alpha 11.6.
When standing on it in the water, the board is perfectly flat.

⭐️Alpha 12’6×28

The board’s stability is significantly lower than that of the 12.6×31 because it’s narrower, but after some paddling, you get used to it. The board floats flat in the water, and the pointed nose cuts through it nicely.

⭐️Alpha 14’x27

The board’s stability is comparable to that of the 12.6×28. The board lays flat in the water and the pointed nose cuts through it easily.

My Own Experience

Sroka Alpha SUP
Sroka Alpha SUP back side bungee

While I was unboxing the Sroka Alpha SUP, you can see the model and color of the paddleboard on the packaging. Materially, it is well packed, but like the other Sroka paddle boards I reviewed, the basic package (budget-friendly) does not come with a paddle and leash, which I believe is critical!

Each board has a nice sturdy feel to it, and what stands out is that it has two extra handles that can be used for a possible beach start in competitions. Each board includes a US fin box and a matching US weed fin that can be attached to the board by hand without the use of a screwdriver.

The handle for the SUP board can be found in the repair kit. What’s nice is that you can remove the handle after surfing so that it can dry separately from the board. The board has three handles, one in the center and two further forward.

The included pump is a standard dual-action pump, which means it can pump in both directions. Both dual action and single action are pleasant to use.

The instruction manual that comes with it is straightforward. The instructions are available in a variety of languages. This instruction also explains how to roll up the board properly.

Sroka Alpha SUP
Sroka Alpha SUP D-ring

When it comes to the SUP bag, has a nice design and wheels, which is very convenient. The bag has one large compartment that can hold everything, as well as small pockets inside for a fin and a book. A paddle storage compartment is located on the bag’s side.

Using the included Dual action pump, I had no trouble inflating the paddleboard. After inflating all four Sroka Alpha SUPs, I discovered that three of them were twisted, which means that the fin box is at an angle under the board and will cause a deviation.

In this case, Sroka solved the problem admirably by supplying new boards, allowing us to continue testing. The boards that had a deviation were returned to Sroka. When purchasing a board, ensure that it is straight and leveled.

Sroka Alpha SUP

Aside from the production errors, I am very pleased with how the boards are finished! They have bungee cords on the front and back to carry items. Unfortunately, they lack a kick-pad, which would have been a nice addition given that these are Sroka’s racing models.

It is common in Sroka Paddleboards to find the valve at the front of the SUP rather than the tail, as is the norm. However, I believe it is a very useful feature because you usually roll up your SUP at the tail area first, and having the valve at the front would allow all of the air to exit!

Sroka Alpha SUP

Because of its short length and low volume, the Alpha 11’6 board is extremely maneuverable. You turn the board around with one step back.

The Alpha 12’6×31 board has more volume than the Alpha 11.6 board, making it easier to move around. With one step back, you can quickly turn the board around.

If you use the proper technique, the Alpha 12’6×28 board is quite agile. The back of the board is much narrower than the front, making turning more difficult.
The Sroka Alpha SUP comes with a two-year PVC warranty, and I’d like to commend their customer service since they abruptly changed the three paddleboards that had production issues.

For durability, high-quality materials are used, and all Sroka Alpha SUPs use Fusion Technology, which makes the paddleboard lighter!

Sroka Alpha SUP Review: My Unbiased Opinion! 8

Inflate / deflate
I had no trouble inflating the Sroka Alpha SUP, which I was able to do in less than 12 minutes with the Dual action pump. However, because the Alpha 14×27 has a larger volume than the others, it took me around 15 minutes to inflate it. To speed up the process, I recommend my absolute best OM Shark II electric pump.

Sroka Alpha SUP Review: My Unbiased Opinion! 9

Warranty
All Sroka Alpha SUP models come with a two-year PVC warranty.

Design
I think the design of these Sroka Alpha SUP models is very nice. Their paddleboards have a simple patter with well-chosen colors.

In The Package

SUP Backpack

Sroka Alpha SUP
Sroka Alpha SUP backpack on wheels

The Sroka Alpha SUP bag has wheels, which is a great addition since it is lightweight and easy to transport. It also has compartments and pockets, making it convenient to use, and it is spacious enough to hold additional accessories.

Paddle&Leash (not in the basic package)

Sroka Alpha SUP paddle
Sroka Alpha SUP paddle

This would be the paddle if you get the full package of the Alpha SUP. I have to mention that the paddle and leash do not come with the basic package. This is something that made me slightly disappointed, primarily because I consider these two pieces of gear pretty “basic” and essential.

Also, I have to note I fell in love with the paddle design; absolutely gorgeous with the whole SUP design.

Sroka Alpha SUP leash coiled
Sroka Alpha SUP leash coiled

This is one of the leashes Sroka has on their website for additional purchase. I recommend getting this one – the coiled SUP leash – as opposed to the straight one which is too long and it will hang in the water while paddling.

Pump

Sroka Alpha SUP
Pumping my Sroka Alpha SUP

I had no trouble inflating my paddleboard with the Sroka Alpha SUP Pump’s dual-action pump. However, if you paddle frequently, I recommend purchasing an Electric SUP pump for your convenience.

I used the OM Shark II electric pump to speed up the inflating!

Instruction Manual

Because this paddleboard was made by a French company, it comes with an instruction manual that is both clear and translated into other languages. It also includes instructions for rolling up your Sroka Girly paddle boards!

Carrying Handle

The Sroka Alpha SUP comes with a neoprene carrying handle that you can detach from your paddleboard. A great feature from Sroka that I like because you can choose whether or not to use it during your paddling sessions. Having a handle in the middle can be distracting at times. Especially during yoga sessions or water picnics.

Fin

Each model of the Sroka Alpha SUP comes with a single US Fin Box that is also simple to install. You do not need a screwdriver to attach the fin.

Repair Kit

Sroka Easy paddle board

In the repair kit, you will receive patches and a valve wrench if your paddle board sustains minor damage. Having your repair kit with you every time you paddle is preferable.

Other Reviews of the Sroka Girly Paddle Board Online

Sroka Alpha SUP

⭐️bananaway.si:” When I decided to buy a sup board, I was looking for a quality product for acceptable money. Besides, I wanted the board to be more than a light-sos “stinging” in the water in front of the beach. And what are my practical experiences? All expectations have come true. Spanje turned out to be a first-class recreation, and I’ve never had hours on the beach run so fast…”

⭐️bananaway. si: I was persuaded by a positive “review”, the recommendation of the seller, and an acceptable price for a quality SUP.

⭐️srokacompany.com: “Very, very happy owner of the board, I also noticed the slight play of the fin in its box, nothing very bad, I will try the trick of the adhesive tape with my dealer (Laurent in Peypin πŸ™‚ ). But apart from that… it’s a bomb! To buy with eyes closed!”

Conclusion | Should I Buy The Sroka Alpha Paddle Board?

Do I recommend the Sroka Alpha SUP?

Yes!

I had a lot of fun testing out these four paddle boards, and each of them performs admirably on the water. I am impressed with the performance because they are very stable on the water, easy to glide, and easy to maneuver.

There is only one thing I would change about Sroka, and that is to include a paddle and leash in their basic package. These SUP accessories are necessary for any SUP rider. However, I liked that they switched to a wheeled SUP bag for the Sroka Alpha SUP, and another advantage of these paddleboards is that they are great for beginners!

So, if you’re looking for a paddleboard to get you started on your paddling journey, the Sroka Alpha SUP is a good choice.
