The Aqua Marina Blade is on π₯ fire π₯ with its versatile use
Given the low prices, both stand-up paddling and windsurfing are made easy with the new BLADE Windsurf SUP board. The Blade has been upgraded to a 6″ thickness this year, making it two sports in one. It has excellent maneuverability and all-around potential great for racing. It provides endless entertainment for those who wish to hold the winds in their arms.
Most suitable for:
While best suited for more advanced paddlers, it’s light, compact, and strong, and it can still be used by riders of any skill level who want to hold the wind in their arms, especially those who want to go racing. When the wind picks up, why not learn to windsurf? The Aqua Marina Blade Windsurf SUP board is ideal for stand-up paddling and windsurfing.
Pro’s
- The foot loops provide a secure grip.
- A non-slip deck pad is included with the blade.
- The Aqua Marina Blade Windsurf Paddle Board has a hard tear-off edge at the stern, giving it stable riding characteristics similar to a windsurfing board.
- The round edges at the back suck themselves deeper and deeper into the water at high speeds. The WindSUP glides thanks to tear-off edges.
- The sail is right there with the Blade.
- Super windsurfing requires a straight line, which the central fin provides.
Cons
- Not always available
- No paddle included
The Aqua Marina Blade is a SUP board that can also be used for windsurfing. It’s a classic all-rounder with a mast foot that accepts the supplied rig. The (due to design) somewhat cumbersome Blade can be brought into motion well with the 5 square meter sail.
The Aqua Marina Blade’s design demonstrates that it is primarily designed for windsurfing and racing. The secure stand is ensured by the extra non-slip honeycomb-like EVA deck pad in the middle and a total of three-foot loops. The rear edges are hard-cut to ensure a smooth glide over the water.
Beginners will appreciate the fact that this set already includes the entire rig and some accessories. Overall, although designed for advance paddlers, it’s fantastic for beginner WindSUP. The only criticism is that no leash and paddle are included in the package.
I liked this board for paddling around while relaxing along the shore on my holiday. It is easier to make turns because of the kick pad. You can lean back, lift the front up a bit and make a quick turn.

Speed on the water
On the water, speed is good, but if you compare it to a hardboard paddle board, the speed is better than the inflatable paddle board. On the other hand, windsurfing can be enjoyable even when there isn’t much wind. Both paddling and windsurfing are possible with the Aqua Marina Blade. With its excellent maneuverability and all-around potential, the BLADE can be used for two sports in one. It provides endless entertainment for those who wish to hold the winds in their arms.
Transport
Like any Aqua Marina paddle board, the Aqua Marina Blade is easy to transport. It weighs 11.3 kg and is both light and durable. You can windsurf and paddle anywhere!
Stability
Drop stitch was used to construct the board, which was made of two layers of PVC. Premium double-layer construction increases stiffness by 25β30% in the specialized line. Aqua Marina uses this method on all newer boards. The modern approach has proven to be very successful. Many other companies use the same manufacturing technology to make their SUP boards.
My own experience
As per my first impressions of the Aqua Marina Blade, this Wind SUP is all about versatility. The fact that the board can be connected to a windsurfing rig and used for recreational sailing makes me happy. This is because of the double fin design, which increases stability and makes upwind sailing easier. When the wind dies down, the Aqua Marina Blade can be used as a standard SUP board, extending the fun.
Paddling is effortless and enjoyable, and I appreciate the optimized size of the board. This WindSUP is ideal for anyone looking for an all-around board that will bring them joy regardless of the weather!
The Aqua Marina Blade is built like any other all-around board. It has the classic dimensions of an all-rounder, with a length of 320 cm, a width of 84 cm, and a thickness of 15 cm.
The blade’s dual function allows it to be used as an all-around board for fun weekend trips, long tours, slow-moving waters, and smaller waves. Only the rear fin is required for this model.
In windsurfing mode, however, both fins and β of course β the sail are necessary. WindSUPs are already far along in their development, but they are currently only used in light wind conditions.
The Bungee system has an adjustable bungee cord stopper for easy luggage tightening. This would increase the safety and security of your cargo.
At WindSUP, having a secure footing is crucial. Nowadays, all boards come with a non-slip EVA deck pad. In Aqua Marina Blade, the crocodile skin pattern on the Eva Footpad with diamond grooving ensures ultimate grip and comfort.
The Carry Handle in the Aqua Marina Blade also has a comfortable neoprene carry handle in the center. It can be easily flattened to avoid tripping.
The foot loops (one in the back and two in the middle of the board) provide the best support. The absence of a luggage net at the back is critical for WindSUP boards. There’s a good chance you’ll get tangled up and fall. There are no unnecessary extras with the Blade. On the other hand, the extra foot loop can be used for maneuvers.
A high-quality rubber patched air valve with a premium appearance and improved airtightness in harsh conditions.
The paddle board design of the Aqua Marina has been improved in several ways as they have updated their SUP. The aqua marina Blade board has such a sleek and attractive design. It is almost identical to Aqua Marina Rapid in terms of color and design. Aqua Marina has chosen, in my opinion, really cool designs that go well with the type of board.
A luggage net is attached to the front of the board with four D-rings. A drybag, for example, can be used to store provisions, a smartphone, or a camera. In addition, while in Windsurfing mode, Aqua Marina added a paddle holder to the Aqua Marina Blade.
The Aqua Marina Blade sail has a pocket in which you can store the entire rig. It comes in two sizes, 3 m2 and 5 m2. The sail is made of Dacron with a PET window. Rest assured that it is lightweight, durable, and UV-resistant.
The only drawback to this product is that it does not come with a paddle. However, the most common complaint is that this Aqua Marina Blade is never available. Is this a positive or negative thing? That, in my opinion, should be viewed as a positive! That simply means that many people are purchasing this product, despite their complaints and opinions, and that the Aqua Marina Blade is popular among them! A fantastic two-in-one board.

Fins
The Dagger Fin and the Slide-In Center Fin are included in the Package for Aqua Marina Blade. The double fin design adds stability and makes upwind sailing more manageable. The Aqua Marina Blade can be used as a standard SUP board when the wind dies down, extending the fun. The central fin provides a straight line, which is necessary for super windsurfing.
Material
This year’s BLADE has been upgraded to a 6″ thickness, making it two sports in one. It has excellent maneuverability and all-around potential. The premium construction we use on our specialized boards, which is much stiffer and more durable, is called Double Layer Technology. Instead of hand gluing, the second layer of hard-wearing reinforced PVC is fused to the Double Wall Fabric drop stitch core during the raw material stage. The high-tech industrial process could reduce board weight by 20% to 25% by saving glue and making the boards stiffer.
Inflate / deflate
SUP is inflated in nearly 10 mins with the supplied pump
Warranty
The Aqua Marina Blade Inflatable SUP Board comes with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase.
Design
The Aqua Marina Blade WindSUP collection is made to be as user-friendly as possible. The ‘clip and go’ system makes it simple to switch between the various types of experiences the wind and water have to offer, whether you’re windsurfing or stand-up paddling.
In the Package
Paddle
Unfortunately, this paddle board does not come with a paddle. It does, however, have a paddle hold where you can put your paddle. To complete your paddling experience, you may need to purchase one.
Pump
It has a Liquid Air V1 double action pump with a Super-ergonomic handle and pedal design, just like any other Aqua Marina paddle board. It has a Shockproof gauge and a rotating switch for single-to-double action.
Leash
A leash is not included in the package of some Aqua Marina Paddle boards. However, the Aqua Marina Blade has a 9-inch/6-mm surf leash made of heavy-duty material with double stainless steel swivels.
Backpack
Any Aqua Marina Paddle board comes with a zipped backpack as a standard kit. Padded shoulder straps that are ergonomically shaped. The board, paddle, pump, and all the necessary accessories are ideal for long walks. Inside, there’s a pocket for fins, manuals, and repair kits.
Dagger Fin
The Aqua Marina Dagger Fin is also made of super-reinforced nylon. This fin allows you to maintain your board’s course, which is common in windsurfing. It’s easy to put together with a slide and a securing clip.
Slide-In Center Fin
The slide-in center fin determines your paddling experience. With a durable reinforced nylon material, it measures 8.7″ x 7.1″ (22 x 18cm). Fins enable you to travel in a relatively straight line or “track.” They keep the board’s tail from sliding sideways as you apply pressure to either side of the board during your stroke. The fin design affects speed, stability, and how easily you can turn your board.
Optional accessories (my must-haves – not included)

Difference between an Inflatable board and a Hard board
Advantages Inflatable board
- Easy to take on holiday (even on the plane)
- Easy to store in the winter days
- Much cheaper
- Technology has improved greatly over the past 10 years. For this reason, these boards are now almost hard to distinguish from hard boards
Advantages Hardboard
- More speed, which is important if you are a professional
- Easier to make sharp turns on the water because the board is thinner
- No inflation needed, you can get on the water right away
Other reviews of the Aqua Marina Blade online
The Aqua Marina Blade is a known name and in the top 5 of Aqua Marina boards, so it has a couple of reviews online.
“Really enjoying the Blade so far. Everything is high quality, and the board feels stable. Iβve also taken it out without the sail for some general paddling around. Set up was pretty straightforward. Looking forward to getting my son into the sport. Cheers”
rivertooceanadventures.com.au:
“I think both WindSUPs are good. The Champion is more suitable for lighter paddlers or surfers who are less interested in the stand-up paddling aspect. From 85 kilograms total weight (bodyweight + luggage) and if you want to use the board a lot for SUP tours, I would rather reach for the Blade.”
stand-up-paddling.org
“Finally I was able to test the board on the water with family, and I must confess I am excited (hence + 1 star). With the two fins, the straight run is great (especially if you have picked up some speed), and the stability (the footprint and against the tipping) is sensational (even with a higher load: 2 children & 1 adult). The windsurfing option I could not test yet, addendum follows.”
Amazon.com
“In our collection, you will find two windsurf boards: the Aqua Marina Blade and the Aqua Marina Champion. Both boards are specific windsurf paddle boards, although there are differences. If you want to go a step higher, choose the Aqua Marina Blade. This is a bit more expensive to buy, but you will get a larger board and a larger sail in return.”
